Where I score the good sh*t

I weaned myself off of a serious US Weekly and Star Magazine addiction by trolling the online gossip websites. Here's where I get my cheese;

Perez Hilton used to be a favorite of mine, but lately he has been more interested in blogging about himself and his friends then giving good dish. And yet, I still can't help but visit that goofy gollum to read about Paris Hilton's latest antics. That little minx!

Molly Good is my current favorite for a daily look at what those crazy kids are up to. She doesn't break any stories, but gives a charmingly snarky commentary that I adore. She also hooked her readers up with Crazy Days and Nights, the blog of an entertainment lawyer that gives some really great blind items. I can never guess the celebs he's writing about, but the people who leave comments do. So I just read the comments and squeal things like, "Oh that HAS to be Terri Hatcher drunkenly smashing cars. Good one!"

D-Listed is also a fun gossip summary page with short witty blurbs on stars antics. It's a good lunchtime quickie site to visit. The author's entry titles are hilarious, "Would You Hit It?" and "Name This Ho" are my two favorites.

Of course Go Fug Yourself is always a hoot to visit when you want to "listen in" on hilarious women making fun of celebrity outfits. Thank God they don't review normal people. I would hate to hear what they had to say about my Faded Glory Walmart jeans and "Sometimes I Pee Myself When I Laugh" tee shirt.

Oh No They Didn't, eeeeeeh it's ok. If you are desperate for an update it will give you one. But it's really more of a fansite than a dirt site.

And to those judgers who want to know if I have better things to do with my time. Well, I would make my family dinner but those darn Lean Cuisines seem to fill them up so nicely. And I find that about 8 hours of Caillou DVDs provides a far better role model for my kids than I could ever be. ;)

Happy New Year Lotta!

But what about The Superficial? I refresh it 3 times a day...at least.

(You're a horrible mother. I draw the line at 7 1/2 hours of Backyardigans a day. 8 hours is just unacceptable.)

PKM - You too!

Sideburns - I got tired of the Superficial. I think the page took too long to load.

What the fuck?! Why did my homepage show up as "sideburns"? That's seriously not chic. How embarassing.

I thought I was being tested to see if I clicked through to you! Your imagined subervise-ness made me chuckle.

I used to like Perez, but he got a little too "mean" to the normal folk, and a little too friendly to his "cousin". Now I go to him after I read "pink is the new blog". I wish I would wean myself from the mags - but they are so cheap, I just can't help but subscribe.

I read Perez and Dlisted first. Sometimes TMZ.com and Pink Is The New Blog - but on dial up that never loads fully so I get sick of waiting. The Superficial and I Don't Like You That Way are also OK

Lainey Gossip is my absolute fave followed by D-listed. Perez is a monkey jumper.

Actually I was sending someone a link about what "scrotal carrots" are. They're side-burns, as you now know. I obviously forgot that that was the last link I copied. Just call me "scrotal carrots".

Sigh.
