Angelina? Shush.

I admit it. I was starting to feel a little bad about my Angelina Jolie post. I mean, of all the moms out there I should not be the one judging. And then I read the rest of the story on Dlisted.

Angelina Jolie confessed to UK Elle that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt aka The Messiah was not planned. She said that she never had the intention of getting pregnant, but that Brad Pitt was really into the idea.

She said, “I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant. I’m the one that got knocked up."
Ugh. Maybe Jennifer Aniston will adopt Shiloh?

Note to Angelina-Sweetie, you've forgotten a step in the interview process-it's THINK, then TALK. Not the other way around.

Just continues to prove my theory that famous people are just as stupid as regular people, given the chance.

Woah. Is Angeline going for the Worst Mother of the Year Award, or what?

God. The only thing worse than having your mom call you a blob is having her call you an unwanted blob.

I just feel for the babe man. And where is Brad in all this? One would hope that he is getting James Brown on her ass for these quotes.

Angelina,

Call me. I'll explain how that happened, so it doesn't happen again.

Grrrr....

Does anyone else find her adopted children to be incredibly beautiful...like, went shopping for the child that looked right, sort of beautiful...????? I had long harbored respect for her simply for the attention she has brought towards adoption.....but in light of the recent info....I am now a little creeped out by the woman. What a nut job.

I resent her use and abuse of my name, which I've had longer than her.

She is one of the creepiest celebrities out there. Her plan to adopt 13 or 18 children so she can drag them constantly across the planet doesn't seem like good parenting strategy to me.

All that husband stealing (she's done it twice now at least)is pretty annoying.

I try not to judge, either, but it's hard for me not to when I really just don't go all ga-ga over Angelina the way 90% of the population does. I do think she will regret saying such things when Shiloh is older and reads them.

You have lost a reader.
You seem to have attracted some pretty hateful and judgmental women to your site lately. It's not as much fun. Whether it's Angelina or the woman down the street...women who act like this should be ashamed.
They are the same ones who talk nice to you face and then talk to the friend down the street about when you let your kid eat too many Oreo's.
Let me know when you get back to being funny, creative and witty and when you lose the current negative readership you have collected....

Wow. Anon I'm not sure what to say. Perhaps you are being judgy of me and the other ladies on this site? It sure reads that way.

I think you could go through just about every article in this site and not find one that makes fun of or otherwise ridicules my fellow moms. Angelina is a public figure and I think that is an exception in my mind.

Sigh. I've also got to defend my ladies. I see the women that come to my site supporting not only myself(at my worst mothering moments) but each other. And I was one of the girls hiding from the mean girls in high school.

Sorry you didn't find what you were looking for. I wish you well.

Oh my, I'm a new reader. Other than criticising celebrities, which I don't consider hateful, where is all this hatefulness?

I was attracted to this site because Lotta is funny, self deprecating, and makes fun of American culture. Plus, I enjoy the lack of white-wash spread over this whole parenting gig. It isn't always hearts and flowers and I appreciate people telling it like they actually experience it, rather than how they wish they were experiencing it.

Oh well.

Thanks Ang! I'm having trouble commenting on your blog but I wanted to tell you that ALL your Valentines are great (though I am partial to the puppy ones) and you are crazy to call them crap. Send me your rejects and I'll pass em off as my own!

Anon-- Lotta is a funny writer. That is what attracted me to her site. Try not to take life so seriously...
And although I don't agree with her on this one...or most of her readers...I know that she is just trying to stir up the pot! ;)

Thanks Lotta! I think the only one that really truly sucked was the first one. Maybe the second one too. I just wasn't satisfied with them. Maybe with a little more tweaking I will get them right.

yipes! I suppose my comment was of the negative variety....but in real-life I have a strict adherance to a "if you don't have something nice to say...don't say anything at all" policy. I absolutely refuse to speak anything but praise about someone who is not in the room... I have experienced the pain of gossip first hand, and refuse to participate in such destructive past-times. And I am very very aware that we all have different ideas about life, we all make mistakes in life and passing judgement on others behavior is of no value. That being said....for some reason, in my book celebrities are more "character" than "human". To be watched, judged, scrutinized, worshiped, idolized etc. etc. etc. is all part of the job description. In my opinion. I am not a bad person. I just see the "celebrity world" as being synonymous with the "gossip world". If you knew me Anonymous, I think you would find me to be a kind individual....and you would never have to worry about being stabbed in the back. truly.
