Kittens

I was trying to take a picture of daughter's super cute Vanilla & Honey tee that I bought at Y&Z Kids in Lagrange, IL. But as you can see I got distracted by her smile and didn't quite get her in the best light. Still, she melts me completely.

Those are some really great and really fun pictures! I say you can shoot with bright light behind you, but use the flash, or introduce bright light from behind you too. Lighting is all part of the fun!

I joke that my 2.5 year old has a mullet too! We've never cut her bangs (just barely trimmed them to even them out). But for some reason the hair on the top of her head came in shorter than the back. She's only had 2 haircuts in her lifetime. Her bangs are now almost to her chin (but constantly in her face) and the back is past her shoulders. We have it angled from the bangs/chin to the back.

But still, sometimes I think it looks like a mullet.

And on that note, we ran to the store when we got home from work yesterday. She had been playing outside all afternoon. I look at her and I say to my husband, "Boy we sure do look white trash today." Her face and hands were dirty and her pants were totally covered in dirt. My husband said she just looks like a kid who had been playing outside. Guess I should give her a once over before throwing her in the car!

Thanks!

Mark - great tip and welcome back you were missed!

Lee - I SO understand. My kids could have on wife beaters, dirt under the fingernails and mullets and my husband would assure me they looked "fiiiiine." Whatever.
