Yup. Call and ask for a pill.

Or you could get all hippie and jam some garlic or yogurt in there. :)

This "other information" makes me giggle:

"...most women do not experience complete relief of their symptoms in just one day. Most women experience some improvement within one day and complete relief of symptoms within 7 days."

Oh, and so the thing you don't want to be lied to about...

Pill? Sadly, this makes me realize I haven't gone to the lady bits Dr. since daughter was born almost 2 years ago. Aaah! Going in!

"...most women do not experience complete relief of their symptoms in just one day. Most women experience some improvement within one day and complete relief of symptoms within 7 days."

Good Lord! They admit their lies!

I've given up the wait and have bought myself a gloopy 7 day packet of fun.

Get thee to a health food store..or a "conventional" store with a health food section...and pick up a bottle of encapsulated Primadophilus (Acidophilus and Rhamnosus). It will be kept in a cool case. It is like the yogurt technique, only more potent and without the cooling relief. You simply break open the capsule and...ahem...administer. This technique has never let me down. I repeat occasionally for a day or so, but there may be better advice somewhere on the web. As you wont need much of the bottle at all...it is also wonderful for a multitude of digestion issues.

Dirty, stinking, burning, itching lie.

Meera - I've been meaning to get that stuff, though I planned to take it orally. I think I'm gonna stick with that plan.

yeah. diflucan is very good, although as with that one day cream treatment, it might take several days for the infection to go away. the diflucan stays in your system for at least two days, though, so it keeps hittin' at it. good to eat yogurt at this time to help replenish friendly flora in the gut.
