Dude, Don't Stick That Band-Aid On Me!

This 1950's Band-Aid commercial is hauntingly trippy. Tonight as I sleep I know I'll hear that creepy, "Hurt Elbow" voice in my head. Though I do think it's a safe bet that the commercial's creators went on to make even better films in the 60's.

HEEeeeyyyy......... how come those kids got Band-Aids with colors and crap on them when I, and child of the seventies just had plain old crappy brown/flesh colored ones?

I didn't think they came out with these kind until my kids were little. Am I going nuts? Did you have band aids like this in the seventies?

Definately trippy. My favorite is still the "I am stuck on Band Aid brand, 'cause Band Aid's stuck on me". Remember that one?

My three year old was instantly hooked. Thanks.

I do not remember these being around when I was a kid. That explains why my mom would rush at lightening speed through that particular aisle at the store!
