Crapwalk Adventures: Pin Cushion

I made this cushion for my Mom for her (ahem) 29th birthday! The little dark spot you see on the flowers is some scented oil I tried to put on it. I ended up drying it off by sprinkling some cornstarch on it as we went out the door to her celebration.

I love how it turned out! I got the pattern from my new book Softies - but it's only one of many, many awesome pin cushions that Bella Dia has designed. I'm totally going to take a stab at creating one of her cool house softies.

OMG-too stinkin adorable! You did a great job! I thought of trying the houses too, but I saw someone who was doing felt houses on pillows and I fell in felt lust...just wake me when Christmas is over!!!

Lotta, is there anything you can't do? You are so talented. Cool pin cushions, you make cute kids, your psychic, and you rock at losing weight! So jealous I am!!!

You rock girl!!!!
I can't cut a straight line (or draw one even with a ruler), sew, iron (my choice on that one) or any of the stuff needed to do cute things.

Anon - Ooh, that's a good idea too!

Domestic - Gah yourself! ;)

Mich Mom - Um, yea! Find some cool girls to hang out with that don't live in Michigan, Oregon, Minnesota or the Southern US.

Everyone - Thanks!!
