Sweet Press

That's my Tomato Red Ring up on Indie Parade! The red and white button combo seems to do well overall. I dig the antiqued red copper ring band the buttons are mounted onto. I've ordered some more just like them, only thicker and with two bands going around the finger. I can't wait to find them in my mailbox.

The background that I photographed the ring on was a page out of a vintage French coloring book. It's got some great and simple images and I want to take a stab at trying to embroider some. You know. In my spare time. So I bought Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer pencils and a pad of tracing paper. I can't draw for squat - but I might be able to trace if I actually wear my glasses like I'm supposed to.

Indie Parade also put up a picture of my Gin Tipper charm necklace! It was one of those items that I listed almost reluctantly as I wanted to keep it for myself. Maybe I'll have to go over to eBay and see if I can find another charm...

And Cuteable posted my Woodland Dude hair slide! I think the best thing about making this little guy was photographing him against the candy forest page I found in an old cookbook.

On a side note; I'm starting to realize that Mom O Matic has become a little less mental health parenting comedy and a little more Etsy crafty. I don't think I've got the stamina or focus to separate the two and start up a craft blog. Bear with me, I'll try to mix up the two as much as I can.

Congrats Lotta! I've been loving the crafts stuff lately, it's all totally adorable. It also goes hand in hand with mental wellness so I don't see a separation :-)

Excellent job!

I don't mind the single blog for both - easier for me to keep track of!

I for one am glad you're keeping all of your hats under one umbrella...I have a hard time keeping up with everyone as it is.

Also, your little wooden fellow is adorable and looks right at home in his candy forest.

You can write about the metric system and I'll still read you! Don't stress...you and your blog are evolving.
Those french images would be so cute embroidered on kid's t-shirts.

Wow..... if I touched you right now...... I'd hear a sizzling sound..... sssssssssssssss!

Very proud of all you've accomplished! My niece totally stole both rings I bought from you. I need to visit your shop for more..... her birthday is this Saturday! Woops.... my timing sucks!

And...... you're a great Blogging friend! Life takes over sometimes and time is lost!

Thinking of you!

I haven't commented in a while, but I have to say I like the space you're in, girl. It seems good.

I'm gonna have to get me some of your Etsy stuff. It's cute.
