That's my Tomato Red Ring up on Indie Parade! The red and white button combo seems to do well overall. I dig the antiqued red copper ring band the buttons are mounted onto. I've ordered some more just like them, only thicker and with two bands going around the finger. I can't wait to find them in my mailbox.
The background that I photographed the ring on was a page out of a vintage French coloring book. It's got some great and simple images and I want to take a stab at trying to embroider some. You know. In my spare time. So I bought Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer pencils and a pad of tracing paper. I can't draw for squat - but I might be able to trace if I actually wear my glasses like I'm supposed to.
Indie Parade also put up a picture of my Gin Tipper charm necklace! It was one of those items that I listed almost reluctantly as I wanted to keep it for myself. Maybe I'll have to go over to eBay and see if I can find another charm...
And Cuteable posted my Woodland Dude hair slide! I think the best thing about making this little guy was photographing him against the candy forest page I found in an old cookbook.
On a side note; I'm starting to realize that Mom O Matic has become a little less mental health parenting comedy and a little more Etsy crafty. I don't think I've got the stamina or focus to separate the two and start up a craft blog. Bear with me, I'll try to mix up the two as much as I can.
