Neatorama Find: Fake Bus Stop

I love this piece I found on Neatorama. Apparently, a nursing home got tired of having to fetch runaway Alzheimer's patients so the installed a fake bus stop outside their doors.
"We will approach them and say that the bus is coming later and invite them in for a coffee," said Richard Neureither, Benrath’s director. "Five minutes later they have completely forgotten they wanted to leave."
This would totally work on me if husband installed a giant TJ Max shuttle bus sign outside our door. I would intend to go out and frivolously spend money on groceries and socks. (Or carpet - shut up!) Then become stalled by the TJ Maxx sign. Husband could then lure me back inside with a cold Diet Dr. Pepper.

I find that to be a rather kind alternative to other ways of keeping old folks safe. My sign would say Target and my bait back inside would be regular Dr. Pepper.

I'm with Katrina - I'd need a Target sign. And I'd need a Big Gulp of Diet Pepsi.
