Etsy Fish and Babies

I just added some awesome English, Sterling Silver charm necklaces to the shop. This kettle is my favorite because it opens up to reveal a row of sardines! It's based on the expression, "That's a fine kettle of fish we've gotten ourselves into!" or "That's a whole different kettle of fish!". I kept one for myself I love it so much.

The baby inside this basket cracks me up. He's so naked and random. Like he's startled that you caught him hanging out in the basket. This charm isn't part of the batch I got from England, but it is Sterling Silver.

Those charms are very nicely made, but I've gotta say that that baby basket one looks like hive of bees kept an infant prisoner until he wasted away to a mummified version of himself. Perfect for Halloween!

IAM - Do you think I should put "hive" and "mummy" in the tags?

He's cute! Just naked and startled. Like a baby Moses whose all, "Woah, I was just floating along you found me dude. Woah!"

A friend of mine is pregnant, and I really want to get her the baby one. LOVE IT!

How darling is that? I think the babe just needs a little blanky. Maybe some dryer lint could be felted up. Or one of those knitty people could use paperclips and dental floss to make him some bunting. I'm no help because the only crafty thing I can do is turn gum wrappers into paper chains. But, hey, maybe a juicy fruit blanky would be mod and sporty?

Hey, it's baby Moses! Or, as we call him in our house, "Jesus-Moses". Oh, how 3 year olds get confused! It's like, he's a baby and found by the princess in the river, and the next story, he's a grown adult, burning bush, let my people go, and leading everyone across the Red Sea. And isn't Jesus the only baby in the Bible? Hence the name "Jesus-Moses".
