I find this whole thing so disgustingly intriguing. I had no idea there was a market for such goods, um, especially the tampons, which I find repulsive enough to yank out and toss out, much less toss into the hamper and wash with my tee-shirts. I either need to grow up or it is insane.
The liners I may be on board with...my husband will hate me, but he should've allowed me to cloth diaper my little one without mocking me and declaring he wouldn't change the diapers.

I totally understand the concept, I'm a tree-hugger, but I'm not quite sure you'd need/want "pretty" ones. I mean really, who wants to look at them?

You are like an ambassador to a world I know nothing about.

The tampons? That's going too far, and too bizarre because crocheted things no matter how cool make me think of the old lady sales table at my gramma's church full of potholders and toilet paper covers. The thought of those ladies making tampons has me shaking my head. I think there must be a clinical diagnosis for someone who handcrafts things to use for menses. Like Pica, but the reverse.

Lotta - just had to share this link that I stumbled across on the etsy forums page looking for something completely unrelated mind you.... ever since this post I keep running into homemade "sanitary supplies" (as we use to call them in my family). Seriously... these people use them.. and give their tips on cleaning them. I will never be that green!!!
