I Have No Idea What Title To Type.

I'm almost caught up photographing and listing jewelry I made for that last craft show. Husband keeps telling me it's OK to have a stash that isn't listed on Etsy. Something to tuck away for future craft shows.

But for some OCD reason that nags at me. I feel like I can't make new things if I've got stock sitting around here waiting to find a new home. Odd, but true.

And I've got a big pile of awesome supplies just begging me to make something with them. I bought enough that I should be good to go for some time now. To actually keep any income instead of handing it right back over to the button sellers on Etsy and Ebay.

That's the problem with buying one of a kind supplies, or hard to find ones. It's crazy difficult to make yourself wait when you see them. I think I have to just not do any online searching for awhile - it may be the only way to resist.

Hey, not sure if you have heard this (or if you care) but one of the tips I remember reading about promoting your etsy shop is to list a few things every day instead of all of it at once.... that keeps you on the 'things just listed' part of the site.... and do it at a 'peak time' to keep it up....

Love your stuff! :)

Jennifer - that was my best strategy until etsy started doing batch uploads. Now your item isn't published right when you list it. They do it in clumps throughout the day and night. Drag.
