Drunk History, courtesy of Funny or Die, teaches us about Abe Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. Hilarious, and perhaps a bit too closely resembling the history lessons I've given in our own home.
Areyou - It is! I LOVE how they do the dialogue using the drunk narrators voice over.
Miss Jess - The whole series has me laughing hysterically, but this one is my favorite. And not because I too have had to ask "Am I wearing pants?" after 2 bottles of wine either.
Dying from laughter myself. The series on William Henry Harrison is actually my favorite. Why you ask? Well, 3 reasons...
1. Ring Ring..."Hello?? Oh, Hi Mom, Oh I had lots of beer and vodka.... Happy Mother's Day"
2. "Make sure the Government is run good, Make sure the Government is run good."
3. My great, great, great, great, great, great Uncle was William Henry Harrison. It was nice to see where the fam came from, through the eyes and mouth of a Drunk Historian. It explains a lot about myself and also, my family.
I truly think it would be benefical to learn about history this way going forward. It's simple, to the point, and really makes you visualize what it must've been like. I'm hooked.
I'm married to the man I fell in love with in high school. He claims I amuse him daily, I claim I drove him crazy long ago. We both agree that we still love each other even though our asses look nothing like they did in 1989. We managed to produce two incredible kids that amaze, enthrall and exhaust us.
The Mom O Matic blog has been overdisclosing (on and off) since 2006.
